Rise is an independently owned modern, relaxing and friendly bar. It is not what you would expect to find hidden behind the "listed" facade of the old Hallamshire hotel.

We pride ourselves in offering something different from the other bars on west street.

Our big stone baked pizza oven in the open plan kitchen is the focal point of our food offer. Our hand stretched pizza's are Sheffield famous, and we use only the best fresh ingedients.With 30 different pizzas to choose from you are sure to find one that  takes your fancy. Our extensive menu also includes fresh salads, hot and crusty baguettes, jacket potatoes, sharing dishes, desserts and a selection of hot drinks.

We have also just introduced our version of "burger and chips" but this is not your regular calorie loaded burger it is 100% aberdeen angus beef grilled to perfection served with seasoned potato wedges baked in our oven with salad leaves on the side. The toppings, like our pizza toppings, are imaginative and delicious.

On a warm day, check out our decked garden and patio  area which is one of the best outside areas in the city centre.

We are wheelchair friendly and disabled toilet facilities are available.

Our venue is available to hire for private parties on sundays, either phone or email us for details.

Watch this space !!!  We are soon opening a new room upstairs that can be used on busy days as overspill dining and will also be availabe to hire FREE for meetings, etc. We also hope to start live music upstairs which is what "the hallamshire" was famous for in years gone by.
